Directed by the king of low-crime Abel Ferrara (Driller Killer, Ms.45), the film is littered with impressive set-pieces and visceral violence. When White goes back to his pre-prison neighboorhood, he discovers that the crooks that have supplanted him don't follow in his more philanthropic style of thuggery. As such, he begins to ruthlessly eliminate these new parasites, 'liberate' their goods and put the money he makes in the direction of a new hospital. As White continues to kill, the police begin to circle , and his psychotic brand of charity starts to crumble.
