Carrie Schmitt has loved flowers since her childhood and today paints them as part of her mission to create beauty every day. Because of a life-threatening allergy to heat, Carrie began painting in 2009 since she is no longer able to spend time in her garden. Carrie now lives in Seattle in a studio surrounded by mountains. She plans to start offering art retreats in the beautiful Pacific Northwest soon.
