Hanna Bruer is an artist currently living in Madison, WI.She earned her bachelor's degree with an emphasis in2 Dimensional art at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and her style continues to evolve. The most prominent, identifiable aspect of her work is the use of text as imagery with an abstract atmosphere. Her paintings are a series of personal essays, each inspired by something different. Their power lies in the process: the gesture and the movement, the words, and the emotion. Hanna also offers her work as performance art, creating an entire painting in front of an audience. She converts a blank canvas into an active work of art, letting the bystander experience her creative process from start to finish. Lots of trial and error, training, and learning has led her to this point, but now she feels like her art is a great representation of herself and her experiences.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
