Prominent Colors: White, Red, Light Blue, Tan Although Robert has painted throughout his life, it is only recently that he decided to become a full time professional artist. Bob is basically a self-taught artist and has developed his talent and style of painting over many years. Throughout his childhood, Bob always enjoyed the outdoors. As a young boy he spent much of his time in the countryside closely observing and learning about nature and wildlife. It's those experiences that have given him a deep respect and sincere appreciation of nature and the outdoors. Over the years Bob has traveled extensively throughout North America visiting many of the national parks within the United States and Canada. This has given Bob the opportunity to personally study nature and wildlife in very diverse settings. The photos and notes that he has taken on these trips provide him with much of the subject matter for his paintings. Through his art Bob tries to express himself to fellow nature lovers in a way that stimulates a variety of emotions and thoughts - enriching their lives.
