Vessela Kolibarova was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Her artistic career started in painted animation working with the top Bulgarian directors of the 1980s. After attending the studio's of renowned Bulgarian painters learning drawing, composition and different painting techniques fine art became her destiny. Throughout the years Vessela became proficient in numerous mediums and developed a style that could be defined as romantic realism.
