Description
The French Door Refrigerator Water Tank Assembly includes the water filter head with a by-pass plug and a ¼" main water supply male fitting. This tank is located inside the refrigerator and holds chilled water inside the appliance before it exits the water dispenser. If your current water tank assembly is malfunctioning or cracked, replacing this water tank assembly may alleviate the issue. This is an accessory part that can be used across most major brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Installing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin.
