This Range Hood Vent with Charcoal Filter can be used to clear the air from your kitchen if venting your range’s exhaust to the outside is not possible. The charcoal filter refreshes the air to remove smoke and airborne pollutants before they’re recirculated back into the home. This universal kit includes (2) charcoal filters and (1) off-white vent cover. Installing this accessory will require basic hand tools and novice repair experience. Remember to turn off the appropriate circuit breaker before installing this part. Helpful Tip: For optimum performance of your vent, change the filter at least every 6 months or when a loss of airflow can be detected
