THE DREADED ANTARCTIC OUTPOST"Hey! Let's all go to Antartica and look at penguins and learn about cold stuff!" If anyone suggests such a thing, you've got to be very careful. It is entirely possible you're about to have some chilly evenings watching amazing animals with zero fear and do all the science. It is also possible that you're about to encounter a fearless alien being that will corrupt your blood, turn you into a simulation, and commit terrible atrocities in order to escape the cold. So, really... either sounds fun as heck! FUN DETAILSAt least, it will be fun if you're just playing The Thing: Infection at Outpost 31. In this 4-8 player game, you'll spend one or two hours working together to unlock the sectors of the outpost and investigate the strange mishaps that have been going on. At least... you'll be working together until you aren't anymore. Over the course of the game, some may become infected and suddenly sabotage cards will show up when the captain of the round is looking over the resources given to them for each mission! Humans will work to resolve missions and get closer to defeating the Thing and escaping with an all-human group. Simulations will covertly try to appear human while throwing wrenches into the plan so they can escape the outpost and infect the whole world! Play your cards right, because you're on a time limit and that final vote to escape is coming soon!FRIENDS OR FATALITIESWhen you might have an evil simulation pretending to be your buddy, you've got to work fast. Not only is the infection growing at Outpost 31 but you've got to choose who stays and who escapes! Simulate the epic movie in this tabletop game. Nightmares definitely included.
