The Lovisa cup by Vaja Finland is an attractive porcelain cup for serving coffee, tea or hot chocolate, both in daily life as well as festive occasions. A matching plate for the cup is the 17 cm saucer from the Lovisa collection. Vaja Finland’s Lovisa tableware is adorned with Jenna Tommila’s decorative pattern inspired by the pink, ornamental facade of the Loviisa Town Hall in southern Finland. The delicate, lace-like pattern was created in collaboration with the City of Loviisa. Made of durable, white vitro porcelain, the collection was designed and manufactured in small series in Vaja Finland’s own factory in Porvoo, whose calm seaside ambience gave the designer Fred Owren inspiration for the clean lines of the series.
