Veja presents the V-12 leather trainers. Taking pride in their use of recycled materials and sustainable methods, this brand doesn’t put a foot out of line. Redesigning the traditional trainer silhouette in a sustainable way, the label takes care to create shoes ethically. Leather panels are overlaid in contrasting colourways, giving colour to the signature Veja V and branded heel tab. Lined with soft jersey fabric, made from a blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton, the shoe provides superior comfort. Both the sole and insole are made out of wild rubber, bought directly from the Seringueiro communities in the Amazon rainforest. Although the old methods have been replaced, the silhouette remains familiar. Classic details include the round toe, low top style, lace-up fastening, branded tongue and contrast heel tab. Upper: Leather. Lining: 33% Organic Cotton, 67% Recycled Polyester. Sole/Insole: Wild Amazonian Rubber. Made in Brazil
