Kit Kemp was inspired by John Craxton’s drawing of a wife waving farewell to her husband to create this sugar bowl for Wedgwood. The illustration printed across the sides featuring an octopus and boat on a wavy sea and framed by lines of 22-carat gold “blends my love of craft and simple folk art in a fun and lyrical way”, the designer said of the piece.
