One of only ten hand-customized pieces in the Levi’s® X Creative Growth collection. This one-of-a-kind item features the work of an artist with developmental disabilities. Using a Levi’s® Authorized Vintage Trucker Jacket as a canvas, the artist embellished the garment with their choice of medium and subject matter. Levi’s® is making a donation to Creative Growth Art Center to commemorate this collection. Lulu’s artwork is greatly influenced by her upbringing in Mexico City. She combines painting with weaving, sewing and embroidery (even inventing her own embroidery knots). She mainly depicts portraits of herself, friends and characters in her distinct figurative style. Lulu’s work has been featured in exhibitions in Los Angeles and Miami.
