One of only ten hand-customized pieces in the Levi’s® X Creative Growth collection. This one-of-a-kind item features the work of an artist with developmental disabilities. Using a Levi’s® Authorized Vintage Trucker Jacket as a canvas, the artist embellished the garment with their choice of medium and subject matter. Levi’s® is making a donation to Creative Growth Art Center to commemorate this collection. Nicole layers bright washes of paint over text and imagery to create richly detailed works of art. Watching her paint is like witnessing a performance art piece ; she walks around her studio, hides in spaces, dances and hums while she works. Nicole’s work has been shown at exhibits in Paris and New York.
