Levi’s® and Shepard Fairey ; OBEY founder, celebrated artist and social activist ; came together to transform our most iconic piece of outerwear into a symbol of peace and hope for a brighter future. Shepard and our design team combined techniques like embroidery, screen printing and fabric-printed paneling to treat these one-of-a-kind Trucker Jackets. They serve as a reminder that pushing for peace ironically requires, as Fairey says, “a militant vigilance itself,” and represent our desire to embrace justice and equality. All proceeds from these Trucker jackets will go to the ACLU: 100 years of fighting in the courts, statehouses and Congress to defend the rights that the Constitution guarantees to all of us.
