Low-top ‘ZX Run’ trainers by Y-3, Adidas’ collaboration range with Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. With panels of perforated white leather, soft grey suede and woven textile forming the multi-coloured uppers, the round-toe sneakers feature a slightly chunky silhouette with padding on the tongue and collar for enhanced comfort. Fastened with laces, the trainers are detailed with stripe cut-outs to the navy blue leather quarters as an homage to the brand’s signature three stripes. Set upon lightweight EVA and rubber soles that offer grip and traction, the sneakers are complete with a red band across the vamp that bears the designer’s scrawled signature, and a tonal patch stitched on the tongue with Y-3 branding.
