While studying for a Masters in Landscape Architecture at University of Pennsylvania, Kira Appelhans fell in love with printmaking. Pursuing this passion in moments between life and work, she uses the etching process of intaglio printmaking as a fast, tactile way to capture and study processes found in the natural world.

In 2011, Minh Nguyen and Caitlin Dinkins joined forces to establish Zoe Bios Creative, an art and design house based in Los Angeles.
