Design House Stockholm Alba vase
Description
Design House Stockholm's Alba vase, designed by Anna Kraitz, combines art and functionality. The porcelain vase features a leather belt: ”together they form a symbol of me myself, a sort of self-portrait. But I also use the belt as a symbol for gathering together and defining the shapeless and rapidly changing world that we live in at the moment.” Alba is a smaller version of the Early Bird vase that Kraitz designed for an exhibition in 2008.
