Evolv Geshido Velcro Climbing Shoes

The Geshido was designed for the climber that needs to excel on all types of terrain from moderately overhanging, to vertical, to off-vertical faces for long periods of time.

Synthratek VX Upper

Constructed using a synthetic upper, the Geshido Climbing Shoes ensure comfort and support. The upper sits comfortably against the skin and has minimal stretch to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free climbs. The Geshido is built with a single later vegan synthetic upper, a synthetic upper will undergo less stretch than a leather upper, which will, in turn, keep the shoe feeling tighter and more powerful. As well as this, a variable Thickness Rand system puts thinner rand rubber in areas to reduce pressure points and hot spots around the foot as well as thicker rubber for increased longevity in the high wear zones near the toe for durability and performance. Completing the upper are dual closure straps which provide a supportive and powerful fit for increased midfoot comfort.

MX-P Midsole

The midsole of the Evolv Geshido Climbing Shoes is low in profile to save on weight and increase underfoot feel. The midsole incorporates a blend of sensitivity and support to allow you to feel any changes underfoot. Increased sensitivity is important when climbing as it allows you to get a feel of the rock or ground beneath you before committing. The Geshido has a thinner heel rand to yield when the route goes past vertical but is paired with a dark spine heel midsole to ensure that there is plenty of rigidity and power to the toes when needed.

TRAX SAS Outsole

Providing you with the best friction out there, the TRAX SAS Outsole adds maximum durability. The outsole maximises your performance in the gym and on the rock with the stickiest rubber compound available. The high friction rubber allows you to grasp on to the smallest foothold and edge your way onto angled terrain; this versatile compound supports climbers as they cruise up the most technical terrain. The sole's job is to make sure you don't slip especially on uncompromising climbs and the Trax SAS is there to support you at all times.
