Description
The Sointu tea towel from Lapuan Kankurit features a rhythmic, jacquard-woven pattern reminiscent of piano keyboards – the name Sointu means "chord" in Finnish. Designed by Helmi Liikanen, the chequered pattern is repeated on different sides of the towel in opposite colours. The Sointu towel is made from a high-quality blend of linen and organic cotton. The flax originates in Europe, specifically in Normandy, France, and has been awarded the Masters of Linen label for quality and traceability. All yarns are both spun and dyed in Europe in accordance with the REACH regulation and the Oeko-Tex standard. The fabric of the Sointu towel is woven at Lapuan Kankurit's own weaving mill in Finland.
