Description
The Pieni Primavera coated placemat by Marimekko is decorated with a lush, energetic pattern designed by Maija Isola in 1972. The Finnish designer and visual artist painted the pattern while living abroad, and the stylized marigolds can be seen as an expression of her longing for home. Colourful placemats are an easy way to add a unique touch to the table setting as well as to protect the table surface. Due to the acrylic coating, they are also easy to wipe clean using a damp cloth.
